The goal of the ICL is to facilitate the growth of church members into fully devoted followers of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Becoming a Fully Devoted Following of Jesus Christ

The Institute for Christian Learning (ICL) provides an opportunity for you to make progress in becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus was very clear. He told his disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations."  In keeping with the spirit of this command it is clearly the responsibility of the local church to make disciples - fully devoted followers. To this end we as a church are committed to this task. It is a process that begins when a non-believer becomes interested in spiritual things, is exposed to the sharing of the good news of Jesus Christ, comes to the crisis of the salvation commitment, and finally gets involved in the growing process leading to maturity. This is a life-long journey, one that ends only when we go to be with Christ.

What is a Fully Devoted Follower?

Because this is a life-long process, the following does not define, but rather identifies, the areas in a believer's life where growth is taking place when one is a fully devoted follower: walks with God, grows in faith, contributes to the community, and impacts the world for Christ.

What ICL Offers

• weekly courses usually held on weekdays, in 2 or more consecutive week segments
• weekend concentrated seminars that cover a topic of study in a Friday evening and Saturday time format
• one day (or evening) seminars" on a particular topic

The ICL fall, winter and spring courses offer a broad scope of learning opportunities. There is something for everyone, something for you, regardless of where you are in the process of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
